Welcome to my stop on the Club Scrap Vintage Botany blog hop!
Isn't this kit gorgeous?!
Before Club Scrap® posted project ideas and instructions on their blog, they published a monthly Scrap Rap publication that was included in each kit. I have quite a collection of them! The instructions are always so easy to follow and the end results are beautiful creations that will make people "ooooh and ahhhh" over them. Looks really hard doesn't it?
Well, it's easy when you know how!

This particular 6x6 album kit was offered long ago, but with the instructions and a little extra know how, I can recreate this project using any papers I choose for a whole new look! This 2007 edition of the Scrap Rap even included ALSB cutting and assembly instructions for ten 6x6 pages.

AND...here's a bonus video of Tricia making the acrylic version of this album!

This whole project came together in an afternoon! It doesn't get much easier than that. Aren't these mini scrapbook pages adorable? All I need to add now are 2x3 photos trimmed to fit the photo mats and some journaling.
OK, I didn't stop there... The cover is decorated with a card panel I made for the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #415 using the card sketch from the July 2017 Club Scrap Idea Deck Challenge!
Talk about efficient scrapbooking!

ReplyDeletebeautifully done Wendy
ReplyDeleteStunning work on both the Acrylic Album with 6x6 mini pages and the card!!
ReplyDeleteI also have to say, I stumbled across this project sitting in my stash the other day, and was remembering how much I loved doing it back when I first got the Sparkle kit. AWESOME!
Delightful Wendy - great work.
ReplyDeleteThank you and yes it would! I was thinking shower gifts, etc. I'm keeping this one for myself though. 😜
ReplyDeleteThank you Hetty! I rediscovered those Club Scrap font stamps sets. Now I'm sorry I gave some of them away. Lesson to myself, it's OK to hoard craft supplies because I will use them one day!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jill! I can't wait to see what you link up!
ReplyDeleteThanks Julie! I wasn't a member then 😢, but I'm so glad I snagged that Scrap Rap! The mini pages were so fun to put together. It's definitely a project to make again.
ReplyDeleteThank you Wendy for such great ideas. They are really beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThank you Donna, you are so sweet!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful album Wendy! Love the cover especially.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Arlene!
ReplyDeleteJUST GORGEOUS!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun album! I love how you miniaturized it! So stinkin' cute....looks like it will be even more fun to add pics too. What a treasure!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I don't make things for myself, I always end up giving it away and I think I'm keeping this one!
ReplyDeleteOh so fun again to look back on old Scrap Raps, great project ideas in there! Ha! Love how your album came together, really beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThanks Kay!
ReplyDeleteLOL...I usually make things for others too! Very rarely do I keep what I make but like you sometimes things are just so special you have to keep 'em.
ReplyDeleteI have this project in my stash as well! I've used the easy 6x6 page instructions for several other minis, though! I hope you'll put this in the Project Use It thread. This older project is exactly why that thread was created by Farley Cross a number of years ago!
ReplyDeleteI didn't have the acrylic album kit, but the instructions sure helped me out! Thanks Pam! I'll link up today.
ReplyDeleteWay to utilize your card, Wendy! I love how you bring older projects back to life!
ReplyDelete🤣 Thanks Lisa!
ReplyDeleteWendy, this turned out amazing! I love everything about this sweet mini album. Thanks for the walk down "Scrap Rap" memory lane. I'd better find my stack!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous projects!!! Love!

I'm like you Wendy, I have every single Scrap Rap I ever received and I visit them over & over again and the technique stays the same, just change the papers! Love the mini book & card!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Melitta
Thanks Melitta! They are my go to source. I found Tricia and Club Scrap on TVWeekly's youtube videos. Her Page Planners Episode hooked me! I've been a member ever since.
ReplyDeleteLove the mini album and thank you for the instructions. I am definitely going to try this one out!
ReplyDeleteShare it when you do!
ReplyDeleteReally nice! Thanks, Denise
