I’ve always enjoyed working with my hands. Since childhood, art has been a passion of mine—whether painting, drawing, or crafting, it was the one time I didn't mind getting messy. When I wasn't being artistic, I was writing. I discovered creative writing in middle school and fell in love with storytelling. Most of my work consists of short stories about my childhood and family, which remains a central theme on my blog today.

While I have practiced dental hygiene for 30 years, I always make time for my creativity to flourish. My family is a significant inspiration for my work; I am the oldest of five siblings, have been married for 35 years, and my husband and two sons are my world. Now that my sons are grown, my creative outlets help me stay balanced through life's changes.
