Just BEE!

What does it mean to just be?

Be still. Watch the birds, watch your kids play, or lie in the grass and watch the clouds roll by. The only way you can hear what's in your heart is if you are silent and still. Be present. Really listen when someone talks to you, savor your food, and put down the electronics and be in the moment. Be mindful. Meditate, pray, do yoga, take a walk, and enjoy just being alive! Be authentic. My kids call this being "real", not fake. People know when you are being yourself and when you aren't. Always be YOU.  Be content. The only person who can make you happy is you. Do MORE of what makes you happy! Be free. You come into this world empty handed and you leave it the same way. The most important things in life aren't things!

Today's post is part of the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge and we have a color theme for you!CIC 450

Kitty Bee Designs is our sponsor for this challenge and is generously providing our randomly chosen winner with a digital image. My card features the Flower Bumblebee digital stamp. I designed my card in Photoshop Elements and duplicated the daisies to create a pleasing little scene!

I printed on tan colored pencil paper, colored the images with Prismacolor pencils and blended with gamsol and a paper stump.

Just Bee Watermark

I added some splatters of black watercolor and finished things off with Wink of Stella on the wings and yellow Stickles on the daisies. It's amazing how just applying a little color will make an image come to life!

Be sure to check out what the rest of the Design Sweeties have created and link up your creation using our color theme for a chance to win!

Do more of what makes you happy and JUST BE!
