Drawing a Blank? Use a Sketch!

Sometimes all it takes is a little spark of creativity and it's time to celebrate!

I had a stack of paper, a bin of stamps and I drew a blank. I took a Facebook break and this sketch challenge popped up in my feed.

It was just what I needed! I even stepped out of my comfort zone and handwrote the sentiment with a Perfect Medium pen and some white embossing powder.

I used the JFF Rubber Stamps small Stamptangle Star for my focal image, heat embossed with red glitter embossing powder and made some watercolor out of gold Perfect Pearls.

I finished off my card with a glittery brad, foil stars and card stock  from the Club Scrap July 2018 Firecracker kit.

The JFF Rubber Stamps monthly challenge is going on now and our theme for July is Red, White and Blue!

Make something festive and share it with us for a chance to win a gift certificate to shop in the JFF Rubber Stamps online store! I'll look for you at the Red, White and Blue linky party!

  3. Thank you Carol! I'm not comfortable with my own handwriting, I think I just need to practice. I rarely write things anymore, I just type them! Sadly, it'll be a lost art one day. Thanks again for the kind words!

  10. Hi there Ishani! Yes, I did! It's all those years of practicing cursive in school as a little girl. I'm glad to see handwriting is making a comeback! I saw your post about your new DT position, that's what prompted me to play at CAS! Namaste to you you as well my crafty friend. Have a wonderful day!
