Where The Wild Things Are!
About a month ago, I wrote this post Yes, I Ride Like a Girl! about the "Adventures of Wendy and Sheri". It's been 8 weeks and we're still riding and hiking! We've been documenting our rides and our "Monday Fun Days" with photos and videos so that I could put them in albums for each of us. We're making history and it needs to be remembered!
We've had a blast while getting fit, we've biked, hiked, and gotten a lot of fresh air. AND we've each had an accident...so I'd say we're seasoned riders!

I took that fall like a champ! Though it took almost three weeks for the bruises to heal...

Bayou Chicot's trails were a little more advanced than we were ready for! The running joke of the day was "Siri's" mispronunciations of the French/Indian names on the GPS. Siri called Bayou Chicot "Bye-o Ki-cot"! So funny to these Louisiana girls!

Sheri is a lot more adventurous than I am. She's a bit of a daredevil at times. There's not a whole lot she won't try!
We're good riding buddies, we push each other and that keeps us going. We're getting stronger every week, and we're not tired of each other yet! (Sheri, are you laughing?!) We've come so far and I am so PROUD of us!
I knew when I #gotmykit that the Club Scrap® Adirondacks kit was PERFECT for documenting our adventures!
I made an Accordion Hinge Album that was a Club Scrap project from the Homestead kit in 2014. Click here for the Club Scrap blog post with downloadable instructions and a video tutorial.
Don't you love this decorative spine?
I used almost every sheet of paper in my Adirondacks kit!
There's so much room inside! There are 26 pages if you include the 4x6 photo mattes that I attached to the spines. Good thing, because I have a TON of photos that need to go in there!

I decorated the front of my album with card stock and stamp images from the Adirondacks kit and some Tim Holtz grunge paper die cuts from waaaaaaay back. I totally forgot that I had them! I distressed them with Walnut Stain and Vintage Photo distress inks. I found the Indian Head Nickel button and some little metal embellishments that looked like arrowheads in my stash. I used some of the waxed thread from the kit to put it all together.
I still had a few scraps left, so I made a card too. This kit is a great kit for masculine themed projects...like Father's Day! The hunters in my family will love this!
It's a slider card!

I used Lawn Fawn's slider dies and I usually use a nickel as a weight, but it was too big for the duck stamp image. I hated to waste the little deer head charms that came with the kit, but they were the perfect size and weight when I glued two of them together with Club Scrap bookbinding glue!
I still have plenty of tags left to add to my album and lots of pages to fill!
