Fish out of Water

Lagoon Blog Hop Photo

This fourth grader is a MESS!

He's a "balla" (baseBALL, footBALL)!

His confidence overflows! He practiced his typing skills on the computer at my sister's office, since school was cancelled due to Hurricane Harvey.

And, he's got style...Check out his new "do"!

This little Texan got his teeth cleaned at a new dental office for the first time. He's only had Aunt Wendy clean his teeth since he was two...sniff, sniff...I told him he was cheating on me!

Check out the pic upper left, he got to watch The Sandlot in the overhead monitor WHILE he was getting his choppers polished!  I'm so glad he had a good experience with Dr. Sam, his office rocks!

I made a video of my ALSB (Assembly Line Scrapbooking) digital scrapbooking process. I challenged myself and narrated it unscripted.

"Tweak" was the word of the day!

If you LOVE Club Scrap’s paper kits, you should really check out all the corresponding digital kits! All you need is your computer and a software program that works with layers, JPG and PNG file types. Club Scrap recommends Adobe’s Photoshop Elements (tutorials are geared to this program) and GIMP (a free alternative program). Click here for a quick video tutorial on using GIMP with Club Scrap’s QDDLs. I won’t lie to you, there is a bit of a learning curve when using digital scrapbooking kits. But once you’ve mastered the basics, learning new techniques is easy AND you can print your projects and use the kit elements over and over. If you can do it with paper, you can do it with these digital scrapbooking kits! Click here to receive a free mini digital kit download and try it out for yourself!

If you're not a digital scrapper, you can always print the images on card stock and trim for that perfect finishing touch on your pages, cards or projects. Here are a few samples from some of my previous posts:

  16. Thank you Kelly! Most people think that digital scrapbooking is using templates. I wanted to show that whatever you do with paper, you can do digitally. I learned from the best, Linda Sattgast. Her Learn Digital Scrapbooking series teaches you everything you need to know to get started. I felt like a Photoshop Elements Pro after I finished watching! https://qwiklearn.com/signup/qwiklearn-pse.php
