Farewell to Baseball

I wasn't an athlete. I was the kid who was happy to sit the bench, watching and cheering everybody else on, eating Rainblo bubblegum and drinking my Pepsi from a wax paper cup. I just wanted the coupon for a free ice cream cone at Baskin Robbins if our team won the game! My boys are athletes. They both loved every sport they played.
