"The faculty of imagination is both the rudder and bridle of the senses."
Leonardo Da Vinci
It's amazing what I can come up with when I let my imagination free! I limited myself to a handful of never used stamps, my box of paper scraps and an action wobble.
Why not see where your imagination takes you and create a card for our "Movement" challenge?

I'm trying out some home remedies during this cold and rainy flu season. I have lots of raw honey at my disposal with our backyard beehives and I'm putting it to good use!
These jars of liquid gold also make fantastic gifts! They are so pretty, all you need to add is a tag with directions.

Almost a year ago I posted about my husband's new hobby... beekeeping!
The weather is warming up and the bees are getting busy. We just finished the last of our honey from last summer and I'm ready for the next honey harvest. Stay tuned for more bee themed projects coming soon!
I've been admiring some fabulous junk journal projects and thought I'd make another project using recycled items. This time I recycled a mini Pringle's can!
https://youtu.be/dP8QPp47nmM
I took some measurements and resized a few of the kit images in Photoshop Elements to fit my project. I printed all of the images on 8.5x11 white card stock and trimmed to size. The tags and labels were the perfect size to use as embellishments to decorate the can. I fussy cut some of the bees using Cutter Bee scissors and added them with foam tape. (A full list of available supplies used is listed at the end of this post.)
I used the 2 and 2.5 inch Elizabeth Craft Designs stitched circle dies to trim the lid decoration and the telescoping message inside!
This beautiful background print is perfect all by itself, I just added a little Stickles glitter glue to enhance the images.

My best friends and I were riding regularly and we got off track with our busy lives. As soon as the time changes, I'm hitting the road again and I'm dragging them with me!
I made this a birthday card for the crazy chick in sunglasses ⬆! She's a year older and wiser and we need our bodies to stay in shape for all the crazy stuff we still want to do!
Inside is a spinner feature!
Jennifer McGuire recently published this Youtube tutorial and I couldn't resist making one for myself!

It's time for a the new bi-weekly challenge at Cupcake Inspirations and we want you to add some plaid!
Newton's Nook is our sponsor and will be providing a $25 gift certificate to our randomly chosen winner!
I used the Newton's NookPineapple Delight stamp set and matching dies to create my plaid pineapples. (You'll find the complete list of supplies at the end of this post)
I used two Club Scrap stamps to create a plaid background on white card stock. These stamps are no longer available, but I'm sure you have stamps in your stash that you can use. I alternated colors of ink (Club Scrap'sOrchid, Topaz, Moss, and Spruce) to create a fun pattern. I love the argyle stamp!
I used the Newton's NookPineapple Delight dies to cut out the pineapple images and some coordinating card stock for the leaves.
I finished things off with a matching gem and some Diamond Stickles.
Add some plaid to your project and join the Design Sweeties for a chance to win! I'll look for you in the gallery!
