I loved playing office. What little girl doesn't? Answering the phone, typing on a typewriter ( that was a serious skill!), stamping with the office ink pad, and the mother lode of office gadgets...the intercom! I stapled my finger, used all of the tape in the tape dispenser, put all the push pins in a design pattern on the cork board and strung the paper clips together. Before mechanical pencils, you had to sharpen pencils with a pencil sharpener. That was my favorite thing to do. I LOVE the smell of freshly sharpened pencils!
The Taylormadecards4u February 2019 Passport kit is an office theme!
I saw this Graphic 45 pencil bound mini album project on Pinterest and it was perfect for the Office Passport kit! It combined two of my favorite things (pencils and vintage office forms) in one project. Click HERE for the step by step tutorial.
I resized the images in Photoshop Elements to fit the chipboard bases and printed on white card stock. The edges of the card stock and chipboard pieces were inked with Club Scrap Earth ink for a distressed look.
There's plenty of room to stamp a quote, write some journaling or add some photos on each page.
The Vintage Office Forms is a bonus kit that coordinates with the Office Passport kit. These would make great backgrounds, journaling blocks or bound together to make a notepad. The time cards are the perfect size for a shopping list!

Today is the first digital kit release for the new Taylormadecards4u Design Team! Monica Taylor is the owner of Taylormadecards4u and she has put together a bouquet of wine themed elements for the Wine Passport kit!
I've created a Fly Out Mini Album with instructions from Club Scrap to showcase these fun bits of vintage ephemera. I'm all about easy projects and this one is so simple!
All you'll need to create this mini album is two sheets of coordinating card stock, the printed elements from the kit and supplies I'm sure you already have in your stash. I printed the digital elements on white card stock and trimmed with a paper trimmer. (Supplies used will be listed at the end of this post)
There is so much room to decorate in this little album! This could be a junk journal, mini scrapbook album or a wine journal...the possibilities are endless.

Wise words from my youngest son on his 21st birthday last week...
Chris (Dad) : So Jake, what have you learned in your 21 years on earth?
Jake: (Without missing a beat)
1. Listen more and talk less.
2. You can learn something from everyone, no matter how old they are, even children.
3. Greet everyone with an open heart.
4. Family is the most important thing. Spend time with the people you love.
That’s my boy. ❤️
I did not decorate for Christmas this year. *GASP!* I can think of a thousand excuses for why not, but the truth is I just didn't want to. The decorations are in the attic, we have all been super busy this holiday and I'm just plain tired. I'm not being a "grinch". I'm choosing to focus on the important things, spending quality time with my family (and getting messy in my craft room). THAT'S what make me happy!
I'm excited to share that I'm on a brand new design team created by Monica Taylor at Taylormadecards4u. She recently started creating digital images and kits for her Etsy shop and needed help sharing projects and inspiration for her items. Her vintage/retro images appeal to my eclectic side! Her Valentine card designs, vintage order forms and journal cards (and those Santa images!) bring back some fun memories. They remind me of the bits of ephemera I would find at my grandparents' house tucked away in dresser drawers, albums and books. She will be releasing new kits and images each month, so be sure to check out her shop.
So, without further ado, here's my design team post featuring elements from the Santa Passport kit!
I used a card formula by Club Scrap to create a booklet card. Then I printed the Santa Passport digital images on white card stock and trimmed to use as decorative elements. It was such an easy project to create with materials I already had on hand. (Links to supplies used at the end of this post)
For more inspiration check out Monica's posts here and here introducing the new design team on her blog. I'll be back again January 1 for projects with the new monthly release!
Thanks so much for stopping by and Merry Christmas!
